How To Visit The Pantheon?
You don’t have to pay to see the Pantheon but it does get exceptionally busy, especially on weekends which is why you do need to book a reservation for Saturday, Sunday, or any public holiday.
If the lines are huge, then it’s better to move on and come back a little later. Due to its central location, you don’t need to go out of your way to see it. Wait until the lines have died down a little and then go inside.
There are a few bars that directly look out onto the Pantheon and it’s a great experience to relax with a drink while being able to cast for gaze on this wonder.
While it’s amazing from the outside, the inside is well worth a little time and patience. There are many chapels and statues inside along with the breathtaking oculus, which is an open circle on the roof which can shine a light down onto the floor.
